Tufted Titmouse!

A Tufted Titmouse was in the trees and at the feeders this morning for the first time! We've seen this bird once before when we were camping at Rondeau, so it was quite exciting to have it turn up in the yard. One of our bird books describes the TT as a "rare year-round resident." Dave took some great pictures of it before it disappeared. Hopefully it will be come a regular visitor to our yard!

Anotber first of the season today were two Killdeer flying through the yard. We've seen them in the area, but this was the first sighting by the house.
